About
Lúcio Flavo Cavalcante Filho, known artistically as FLAVO, is a singer and songwriter from Maranhão, Brazil. In his solo career, he gives voice to original songs that blend melody, sensitivity and the richness of Brazilian music.
Strongly influenced by MPB, samba, soul, reggae, Brazilian pop and northeastern rhythms, he builds an identity defined by emotion, honest lyrics and a genuine connection with the audience.
Before his solo path, he lived the stage intensely alongside artists like Gargamel, Chico Saldanha (invited by bassist Antônio Paiva) and Emílio Sagaz, and in São Luís bands such as The Mads, Pandha, Audistock, Naipe A and MPR — experience that today shapes his voice as a singer and songwriter.
